I
have hunted Mexico for 30 years and South Texas for 40 years. Each hunter
who comes to me and asks me to help them find and shoot a Big Trophy Buck,
I take as a personal challenge. I have collected 6 B&C Quality Bucks
myself along with 4 Double Drop Bucks & 7 Single Drop Bucks. I have
guided Outfitted or Leased Land which have produced 16 other B&C Quality
Bucks for my clients & friends, and 8 Pope & Young Bow Kills.
I will do everything in my power to see that you get the best chance at
a Big Trophy Whitetail that is possible. All of our Ranches are less than
20 miles from the USA border. No long tracks into OLD MEXICO!
I select the best area that Mexico has to offer. I organize six hunts
annually for the best supreme Trophy Whitetail available. I have several
Ranches which I choose from. The hunt is usually 5 days. One hunt is Dec.
2 7 and Dec. 10 15, then before Christmas, about December
17 23, and the other is just after Christmas, around December 26
31, and the third around January 2 8, and last Jan. 9
15. I have picked the dates to coincide with the Peak of the Rut, and
the Vegetation of the Year. We hunt hard, sometimes daylight to dark.
We Sit, Rattle, and Ride. Whatever is best for the day! We hunt specific
Bucks primarily, but sometimes "Luck" into one which is unknown
to me. We usually stay at Ranch Hacienda. We only take 1 Buck per 1000
acres of Prime Land. It takes 25 does and 25 bucks in the Pipeline to
produce 1 Trophy Buck.
As a retired Research Veterinarian, I try to teach each Trophy Hunter
what is happening in the Trophy Bucks body and also what is happening
in the Does as well. Few hunters really understand the Rut and why it
all happens and how. The topics we go over are; scoring and aging Trophy
Bucks in the wild!, the Rut, Feeding for Greater Antlers, Baiting, Decoys,
rattling, and Genetics. As I have rattled in over 10,000 Bucks perhaps
more. Blating, stopping the Buck for better looks, shooting the Trophy
Buck, what the deer eat, when and how to hunt different phases
of the Moon, Hot weather, Cold weather, Dry, Wet, Windy The Noon
hunts, and more, Agriculture plots, Cactus baiting, the merits of high
rack, Ground stands, stalking, Feed Blending, Protein, Buck-Doe ratios,
Videos, and Live Scoring. If time permits, some varmint hunting maybe
available, when in season, Licenses to hunt and Trophy Fees are optional
at the hunters discretion. I teach and do everything in my power
to see you do well! Remember out unique guarantee. Good opportunity
to take a 10 Point Buck or better plus keep hunting until you shoot your
deer. Usually we have additional Bucks as you can purchase a second chance
as well
Good Luck,
